Barcelona, March 4, 2025 – In a landmark agreement, the GSMA and the State of Qatar have announced the launch of MWC25 Doha, set to take place on November 25-26, 2025, at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center. The announcement was made during a signing ceremony at MWC Barcelona, attended by His Excellency Mohammed bin Ali bin Mohammad Al Mannai, Qatar’s Minister of Communications and Information Technology, along with senior leaders from the GSMA.
This event marks the first-ever MWC edition in Doha as part of a five-year agreement between the GSMA and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) of Qatar. It is expected to become a premier platform for industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators shaping the future of digital societies in the Middle East and beyond.
